Understanding the Groundwater Sampler (GWS)
One of the newest HRSC tools, the Groundwater Sampler (GWS), allows operators to create an injection pressure log, while also being able to stop and take multiple discrete groundwater samples at various depths. The probe body houses 20 injection/collection screens and the operator uses two 1/4-inch water lines, one is designated for injecting, and the other for grabbing samples. Additionally, de-ionized (DI) water is used as injection water to confirm that formation water is collected as your sample.
At Eagle Synergistic, we are proud to be able to offer cutting-edge Groundwater Sampling services, with our new HRSC unit, which hosts a GWS tool. Contact our team of subsurface imaging specialists today to discuss using Groundwater Sampling services for your site characterization project.
